The 2018 Country Championships and District Teams event were held at Goulburn GC on the weekend of October 6, 7.
The field size was down this year with 89 players taking part – but the quality was high with 57 players having a handicap of scratch or better.
The NDGA team of 6 were – Michael Wade, David Alexander, Ben Hillard, Chris Turnbull, Josh Robards and Harry Cleare.
The NDGA team finished 8th in the District Teams event with 579 where the top 4 scores were counted. The winners were Central Western with 553 from
2nd place Hunter River on 561 and Central Coast 7th with 577.
Our 2 Juniors performed very creditably and were the only team members to record a par or better round – with Josh Robards having a par round on Saturday
and Harry Cleare having a 1 under par round on Sunday.

37th – Josh Robards 70, 76
45th – David Alexander 73, 74
50th – Ben Hillard 72, 77
64th – Harry Cleare 85, 69
66th – Chris Turnbull 76, 79
