JNJG will be conducting a Junior AM on Monday July 4 at Wyong GC as a prelude to the State Championships being conducted on the Central Coast that week.
Registration and Breakfast will be from 7.00am with a shotgun start at 8.00am. Lunch and Presentation to follow.

Round 2 of this year’s Junior Pennant has been re-scheduled for Sunday June 26 at Newcastle GC – with tee times from 10.14am
A sausage sizzle will be available for players at the completion of their round.

The Annual Match against Hunter River DGA for the P.R. West Trophy was scheduled for decision today at Toronto CC.
The match began in very light rain but the conditions quickly got worse and with greens starting to flood the match was called off after 9 holes.
Despite Newcastle DGA holding an overall lead – the match was declared a No-Contest with Newcastle DGA retaining the trophy until 2017.
The Hunter River District are investigating holding the 2017 event on one of their Courses with sand greens in an effort to prise the trophy from the Newcastle
boys.
Round 2 of the Junior Pennant has been rescheduled for Sunday June 26.
The venue will again be Newcastle GC with tee times from 10.16am.

The Annual match between Newcastle GC and the NDGA Representative Team for the Peter Porter Cup was conducted on Sunday May 29 at Newcastle GC.
Each team is represented by 8 Men and 2 ladies and play an 18 hole Fourball match and 18 hole Foursomes match.
The result of this year’s events was a resounding win to the NDGA Team, with the men winning all 8 of their matches. The ladies from Newcastle GC
were successful in both of their matches.

Round 2 of this year’s Junior Pennant was scheduled to be played today, Sunday June 5, at Newcastle Golf Club.
Due to the lousy weather, today’s round has had to be postponed.
Several dates are being considered to hold this round – June 26 being the first – but not definite….
Round 2 of this year’s Junior Pennant will be held on Sunday June 5 at Newcastle GC.
Tee times commence at 10.30am. A sausage sizzle will be provided to players mid way through the round.

46 players have registered for this year’s Pennant Series. This year the format has changed to handicap matchplay with a modified scoring system and
players have been drawn into 4 Selected Teams, based on handicap.
This will ensure that players of all abilities will have a competitive match against a similarly handicapped player.
Prizes will be awarded for individual effort, Best Club Team and Best Selected Team
Round 3 will be held on July 3 at Belmont GC with tee times from 8.30am

The 2016 NDGA Junior Pennant Series started on Sunday May 29 – with Round 1 being held at Charlestown GC.
A new format has been introduced this year – with handicap matchplay and a modified scoring system. Players have been allocated into 4 Selected Teams
based on GA handicap and will play for their Selected Team as well as their Club Teams.
46 players have registered for this years Series – with 40 players participating in Round 1.
The weather was great for golf and the Charlestown course was in great condition.
Round 2 will be held at Newcastle GC on June 5 – with tee times from 10.30am Check the website on Friday afternoon for the Draw and other
information regarding Round 2.
